Best TikTok Slideshow Makers (2026): An Honest Comparison

FYPNow Team··9 min read
The short answer: use TikTok's own photo mode when you already know what to post and the photos are on your phone. Use SlideStorm or WaveGen if you want AI to make the images and post for you. Use CineRads or Fastlane if you sell a product and want slideshows built from your website. Use fypnow's Slideshow Studio when the hard part is deciding what to post: it starts from the slideshows already overperforming in your niche, or from a creator's best slideshows, and builds yours from your own photos.

Most "slideshow maker" lists compare fonts and templates. But the thing that decides whether anyone swipes is the hook on the cover and the order of the slides after it. Very few tools help with that part. Most of them start from a blank prompt.

Disclosure: fypnow is our product. We've put it where it honestly fits, and that isn't first for everything. Every vendor feature and price below was read on the vendor's own website on 8 October 2026. Where a vendor's page didn't say something, we say so rather than guess. Prices change, so check the vendor's page before you buy.

Two schedulers come up in the same searches, Postiz and PostBridge. They post slideshows rather than make them, so they're covered in their own section below.

TikTok photo mode

TikTok's own photo mode is still the quickest route when the post is already in your head. TikTok's 2020 photo tutorial says you can add filters, voiceover, sounds and text, and TikTok's developer docs allow up to 35 photos in one photo post (TikTok newsroom; Content Posting API photo reference, both read 8 October 2026).

It won't tell you what to post. You bring the idea, the order and the words on every slide.

SlideStorm

SlideStorm makes TikTok photo slideshows from a prompt, and its bulk mode turns one prompt into several slideshows. For images you get three options: AI-generated images (3 credits each), an image library, or your own uploads. It connects TikTok accounts and posts from inside the app; the number of accounts depends on the plan.

Pricing on its homepage: Starter $19/mo (300 credits), Pro $49/mo (900 credits) and Premium $99/mo (2,100 credits), at 1 credit per slideshow. Its FAQ lists questions about Instagram and manual download, but the answers didn't load when we checked, so we can't tell you what they say.

Where it's stronger than us: AI images when you have no photos, and posting without opening TikTok.

Slidefluence

Slidefluence is the closest in spirit to what we built. It says its AI looks at top-performing TikToks in your niche before it writes the hooks. The slides are short carousels on stock photography matched to your topic, in a few visual styles, and it auto-schedules them to TikTok through TikTok's official API.

It's priced as a done-for-you posting service: Starter $97/mo for one account and 15 posts a week, up to Done-for-you at $1,497/mo for 25 accounts, with a 7-day trial.

Where it's stronger than us: hands-off scheduling, and you don't need any photos of your own.

CineRads

CineRads is built for product brands. Paste a product URL and it writes the hook, body and call to action and builds the slides from your product page and brand assets. It lists sending to TikTok drafts, daily auto-posting and watermark-free downloads.

Pricing on its pricing page, as monthly prices billed yearly: a free plan with 3 slideshows in total, then Starter $18/mo, Pro $34/mo, Growth $55/mo and Max $139/mo.

Where it's stronger than us: one product URL is all it needs, and it can auto-post.

Slidur

Slidur is the simplest tool here. You upload your photos, add details about your business, and it writes captions and makes TikTok-style slideshows to download. We found no posting option on its site.

Pricing: a free plan, Pro at $19/month and a custom Enterprise plan.

WaveGen

WaveGen turns text into slides. You can feed it writing, a blog URL, a YouTube video, a PDF or a newsletter, and it splits the text into slides and makes an AI image for each one. It schedules or publishes to TikTok and to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Pinterest, and can also export images, PDFs and video.

Pricing, billed yearly: a free plan, then Starter $40/mo, Growth $80/mo and Pro $160/mo, plus a custom Business plan.

Where it's stronger than us: it publishes everywhere, and it can turn an existing article into slides.

Fastlane

Fastlane (usefastlane.ai, not the iOS build tool of the same name) makes slideshows as one of four formats, next to AI UGC videos, hook-and-demo videos and memes. It starts from your website and pulls the product, audience and angles from it. It publishes to TikTok and Instagram on a schedule and ties signups back to each post. Its slideshow page doesn't say whether the images are generated or taken from your site.

Pricing: a free plan, then Starter $29/mo, Growth $49/mo and Pro $149/mo, priced in credits.

Postiz and PostBridge: schedulers, not makers

Postiz schedules to more than 30 networks and says it supports TikTok photo carousels through TikTok's Content Posting API. It also offers AI image and video generation, and it's open source, so you can host it yourself. Plans run from $29/mo to $99/mo. PostBridge posts content you upload to TikTok and nine other networks, and its help centre explains saving TikTok posts as drafts. Plans: Marketer $39/month, Operator $99/month.

Neither one writes a slideshow for you. If you already have the slides and want them posted on a timetable, these are the tools to look at.

fypnow Slideshow Studio

Slideshow Studio starts where the others don't: from the TikTok slideshows already overperforming in your niche. fypnow keeps a catalogue of posts in each niche, ranked by views against the creator's follower count, so a slideshow from a small account that reached far beyond its followers ranks above a big account's average post.

You can start in a few ways:

  • From a top slideshow: pick one from your niche or from a creator you track, and Slideshow Studio writes yours on the same hook and slide structure, in new words.
  • From a creator: make a batch from one creator's best analysed slideshows, on their topics or on yours.
  • From a brief: write the topic yourself, or let it pick a topic from your niche's recent top posts.

It writes in your brand voice or the voice of a creator you track, and fills the slides with your own photos from your Media Library (iPhone HEIC included). It doesn't make AI-generated images and doesn't come with stock images. You edit by chat, with requests like "rewrite this slide" or "swap this image for something brighter", or by hand. Every slide renders at 1080×1920. Then you send the slideshow to your TikTok drafts and post it from the TikTok app, or download a ZIP. A daily recipe can make a fresh batch of drafts every day and send them to your TikTok drafts, but Slideshow Studio never posts for you.

The trade-offs are real. If you have no photos, Slideshow Studio has nothing to fill the slides with, and SlideStorm or WaveGen will make images for you. If you want slideshows to go live without opening TikTok, Slidefluence, CineRads and the schedulers do that and fypnow doesn't. And it's TikTok only: it doesn't make Instagram carousels, YouTube posts or videos.

  • You want it posted on a timetable without touching TikTok: Slidefluence, or a scheduler like Postiz or PostBridge.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best TikTok slideshow maker?

It depends on what you're missing. If you have the idea and the photos, TikTok's own photo mode is the shortest path. If you want AI-generated images and posting handled for you, SlideStorm or WaveGen. If you sell a product and want slideshows built from your website, CineRads or Fastlane. If the hard part is knowing what to make, fypnow's Slideshow Studio starts from the slideshows already overperforming in your niche and builds yours from your own photos.

Which TikTok slideshow makers use AI-generated images?

On the vendors' own pages, checked on 8 October 2026: SlideStorm offers AI images (3 credits each) alongside an image library and your uploads, and WaveGen builds an AI image for each slide. Slidefluence says it uses stock photography matched to your topic. Slidur and fypnow's Slideshow Studio use only photos you upload, with no AI-generated images.

Can a slideshow maker post to TikTok for me?

Some can. Slidefluence auto-schedules through TikTok's API, CineRads lists daily auto-posting, SlideStorm posts from inside its app, and WaveGen, Fastlane, Postiz and PostBridge schedule to TikTok and other networks. fypnow's Slideshow Studio doesn't post: it sends each slideshow to your TikTok drafts, and you post it from the TikTok app. Slidur only downloads.

Is a TikTok slideshow the same as a TikTok video?

No. A photo slideshow is a set of still images people swipe through, usually with text on them and a sound underneath. Some tools also export a video made from photos, which plays rather than swipes. On TikTok those are different kinds of post.
