How it works
- 1Open Settings → Integrations. Press Add to Slack and pick a channel, paste a Discord channel webhook, or paste any HTTPS webhook URL.
- 2Choose which alerts each destination gets: breakouts, Viral Content Agent updates, finished analyses, new posts from tracked creators. Breakouts can be limited to 5x, 10x or 20x+ their creator's usual views.
- 3Press Send test to check it works.
- 4From then on, alerts arrive within a minute or two of the event, formatted for Slack and Discord with links back to the video and the analysis.
- 5Webhook alerts are signed (HMAC-SHA256), so n8n, Zapier, Make or your own server can verify each one came from FYP Now.

Integrations are on every plan from Creator up. The plan decides how much you track and analyze, not where the alerts can go.
Questions
Which alerts can I send to Slack or Discord?
Breakouts from creators you track (including your own accounts), Viral Content Agent updates when an agent finds new videos, analyses you asked for once they are ready, and new posts from tracked creators. Each destination picks its own; the last two are off until you switch them on.
Is this only on the expensive plans?
No. Slack, Discord and webhook alerts are included on every plan, from the $19/mo Creator plan up.
Can I send alerts to Notion, Google Sheets, Gmail or WhatsApp?
Yes, through a webhook into n8n, Zapier or Make, which connect to all of them. We publish an n8n workflow you can import that verifies each alert and turns it into a ready-to-send message. WhatsApp itself requires a Meta Business account and an approved message template.
Can FYP Now read my Slack messages?
No. The Slack connection uses only the permission to post into the one channel you pick. It cannot read messages, list channels or see anything else in your workspace.
How do I know a webhook really came from FYP Now?
Every webhook request carries an X-FYPNow-Signature header: an HMAC-SHA256 of the timestamp and body, keyed with your signing secret. The docs include copy-paste verification code for Node.js and Python.
Do I need to write code?
Not for Slack or Discord: one click or one pasted URL. Webhooks are for when you want the alerts in another tool, and with n8n, Zapier or Make that is still no code.
Can FYP Now analyze and script a breakout before it reaches Slack?
Yes, with Automations, on every paid plan. Start from the template that takes a breakout from a creator you track, analyzes the video, writes a script from it and sends the result to Slack. Alerts on their own need no automation.
