What's new

New features, improvements and fixes as they ship.

v1.8.0NewImprovementFix

Real video teardowns on the growth guides

New

Improved

  • The analyze box moved above the fold on the guide pages, so you can try it without scrolling.
  • Mobile creator pages got a further pass.

Fixed

  • Page-load flicker on several pages caused by content rendering twice.
  • Video URLs with tracking parameters now scrape correctly.
  • Password reset from the dashboard.
v1.7.0NewImprovementFix

FYPNow on your phone, rebuilt

Most people check analytics on a phone. Until now FYPNow was a desktop app that happened to shrink. This is a proper mobile redesign.

New

  • Bottom tab bar — Home, Creators, Trends, Scripts and More, always within thumb reach.
  • Bottom sheets — modals now slide up from the bottom on phones and stay as centred dialogs on desktop.

Improved

  • Tables hide secondary columns instead of forcing you to scroll sideways to read a row.
  • KPI strips stay two-up on phones rather than collapsing into a single tall column.
  • Settings navigation became a scrolling tab strip instead of a squeezed sidebar.
  • The billing plan comparison scrolls and snaps card by card.
  • Search results, sounds and hooks stack cleanly instead of overflowing.
  • Long creator handles truncate rather than breaking the layout.

Fixed

  • The onboarding button and panel no longer sit underneath the tab bar.
  • Layout now accounts for the safe area on notched devices.
  • Opening the recreate flow from a video no longer closes the sheet underneath it.
  • Background scrolling is properly locked when a sheet is open, including when two overlays stack.
v1.6.0NewImprovementFix

Niche walls, custom niches, and a Library to keep what you find

The hardest question in short-form isn't "how did my video do" — it's "what should I make next". This release is our answer.

New

  • Niche Viral Catalogue — the week's best-performing videos, grouped into 23 niches: Fitness, Finance, Reddit Stories, Would You Rather, Food, Gaming and more. Zero setup, nothing to track first, and it's open on every plan.
  • Custom niches — the 23 are the same for everyone, which can't answer "what's working in my corner of TikTok". Name a niche, give it up to three keywords, and it refreshes alongside the others. Allowances scale with your plan.
  • Edit a custom niche — rename it or change its keywords in place. Changing keywords removes only the videos no longer covered by any remaining keyword, so a small edit doesn't wipe your niche.
  • Library — "Save to library" on any video card, with a saved view alongside Most liked and Recent. Free on every plan, because a save costs us nothing and a library you come back to is the point.

A saved video is a permanent snapshot, not a pointer — editing a niche's keywords can never delete something you saved.

Improved

  • Most liked / Recent sort on every niche wall.
  • The catalogue is a rolling library, not a nightly snapshot — each niche gets deeper over time rather than being wiped and rebuilt.
  • Thumbnails load reliably. TikTok's own image links expire within a day; we now host our own copies.
  • From any catalogue video you can jump straight into "Why it went viral" or "Generate a script like this".

Fixed

  • Saved-video state now loads completely on large libraries, so an already-saved video never shows as unsaved.
  • Quota messages when you hit your custom-niche allowance are now accurate and actionable.
  • Several ordering, freshness and empty-state issues on the niche wall.
v1.5.0Improvement

New videos refresh four times a day

Improved

  • Four refreshes a day on recent videos. The full catalogue still refreshes daily, but every video posted in the last seven days now gets its own pass four times a day.

This is the window that matters. A breakout is only useful if you hear about it while the video is still climbing — a once-a-day check was often reporting yesterday's news. Alerts now fire on numbers that are hours old, not a day old.

Included on every plan, with nothing metered.

v1.4.0NewImprovementFix

Add teammates instantly, and a weekly recap in your inbox

New

  • Add a teammate immediately — no invite to accept. Add them from billing, they get a set-password link, and they're in. The old pending-invite flow is gone.
  • Weekly creator recap email — one email a week per workspace, showing every creator you track: views gained, engagement gained, new posts, and viral hits, ranked by views. Workspace totals in the subject line so you can read it without opening it.

The recap is per creator, never per video — individual video callouts are the breakout alert's job. You can turn it off in notification settings.

Improved

  • Seat limits now count pending members correctly, so the seat count on your plan matches reality.

Fixed

  • Password reset and set-password links now work reliably from the emails.
  • Adding a member no longer leaves an orphaned record if the email fails to send.
v1.3.1ImprovementFix

Ten free scrapes to try it properly

Improved

  • Ten free scrapes instead of one — one video was never enough to judge whether the analysis was useful. Ten is.

Fixed

  • Signup verification was rejecting legitimate users behind some networks. Fixed.
  • Search-engine and structured-data corrections across the marketing pages.
v1.3.0NewImprovementFix

Lifecycle emails that actually tell you something

New

  • Lifecycle emails — a proper sequence that reacts to what you have and haven't done yet, instead of one welcome message and silence.
  • Admin sending — we can now send announcements and updates from the admin portal, so product news reaches you without a deploy.

Improved

  • Marketing emails rebuilt end to end — shorter, more specific, and easier to unsubscribe from.

Fixed

  • Shortened TikTok links now scrape correctly, so a vm.tiktok.com URL works the same as a full one.
  • Language detection no longer mislabels English videos.
  • Crawler rules corrected so search engines index the right pages.
v1.2.0NewImprovementFix

A Creator plan, a new landing page, and 120 growth guides

Two weeks after launch, the biggest gap was the price of getting started. This release closes it.

New

  • Creator plan — a lower entry tier for individual creators, below Starter.
  • A free scrape when you sign up — analyze a creator before deciding whether to pay.
  • 120 growth guides by profession — content ideas, hooks and strategy for barbers, therapists, musicians, real estate agents and more, at /grow-on-tiktok.
  • Rebuilt landing page — a full-width "see it work" demo, viral trends on the homepage, and clearer proof above the fold.

Improved

  • Pricing page — clearer tier comparison and plain-language limits.
  • Script generation — scripts now write to your account as they generate, so you can leave the page and come back. Finished scripts redirect you straight to the result.
  • Creator timeseries — view and engagement charts now plot against a baseline, so a spike reads as a spike.

Fixed

  • Billing bugs around trials and plan changes.
  • A stale pending-checkout state when moving from a plan change back to pricing.
  • Assorted wording and naming inconsistencies across the app.
v1.1.0New

Breaking Out: catch a tracked creator's next viral video the day it happens

When a creator you track suddenly blows up, you want to know that day, not a week later when the trend is already crowded. Breaking Out does exactly that.

New

  • Breaking Out feed: a new section on your Home and Viral Trends pages that surfaces tracked creators whose latest video is massively outperforming their own usual numbers. See the creator, how far past their norm it is running, and how recently it broke, then open the full breakdown in one click.
  • Daily breakout email: get an email the day a tracked creator breaks out, so you catch the winners without logging in. Refreshed daily, on every paid plan.
  • From alert to action: every breakout links to a frame-by-frame breakdown of why the video worked, so you can run the same play on your next post instead of just admiring theirs.

Track any creator to start watching them. You can turn the emails on or off anytime in your notification settings.

v1.0.0New

FYPNow 1.0 — Launch

FYPNow is live. Version 1.0 turns short-form video into decisions: point it at creators — your own or competitors — and it breaks down what's working, tracks performance over time, and helps you make more of what wins.

Analyze any video

  • Frame-by-frame breakdowns — hook detection, scene pacing and retention signals, with concrete fixes for next time.
  • Content DNA — format, niche, visual style, energy and pacing on every video.
  • Single-video or whole-creator — paste one TikTok URL, or scrape a creator's catalog at once.
  • Similarity search — find videos like any other.

Track creators automatically

  • Daily tracking — new videos are picked up automatically and metrics refresh on a schedule, so your numbers stay current without you lifting a finger.
  • Side-by-side creators — compare momentum across everyone you track or own.
  • Competitor breakout alerts — get an email when a tracked creator posts a video that massively outperforms their own norm, so you catch the winners without logging in.

Create with the data

  • AI scripts — generated from your top-performing videos, with a forecast for hook score and reach before you film.
  • Viral trends — sounds, hashtags and formats gaining velocity in your niche, ranked by how early you still are.

Built to onboard fast

  • Guided welcome — a Get started widget with a setup checklist and a 60-second interface tour.
  • Documentation — written guides for every page, plus concepts and how-tos, at /docs.

And a free toolset

A caption generator, a hashtag generator, an engagement-rate calculator, and a best-time-to-post tool — no login required.

Welcome aboard. This is just 1.0 — watch this page for what's next.
