How-tos/Make a slideshow in Slideshow Studio

Make a slideshow in Slideshow Studio

Turn a slideshow that is overperforming in your niche, a creator's best slideshows, or a brief into your own TikTok photo slideshows, using your own photos.

Slideshow Studio makes TikTok photo slideshows. It writes yours on the hook and slide structure of slideshows already overperforming in your niche or of a creator's best slideshows, or from a brief, fills the slides with photos from your Media Library, and lets you edit by chat. Then you send it to your TikTok drafts to finish in the TikTok app, or download the slides as a ZIP. It is included in every paid plan.

Upload your own photos to the Media Library first. Slideshow Studio only uses images you uploaded, so a slideshow can only be as varied as your library.

Start a slideshow

  1. Open Slideshow Studio in the sidebar and press New slideshow.
  2. Pick where to start: From a script, From a top slideshow or From a creator (each is described below).
  3. Choose In whose voice?: Brand voice (no creator profile), one of your own accounts, or a creator you track.
  4. Under Images from, choose All my media or the folders to use.
  5. Press Create slideshow. One slideshow opens in the editor when it is ready. A batch makes its drafts in the background and shows them as they land.

From a top slideshow

Under Slideshows from, pick Your tracked creators or Your niches, then a slideshow. They are ranked by how far each one beat its creator's usual numbers. Slideshow Studio keeps the source's slide count and the job each slide does, follows its hook pattern, and writes new words, never the source's. Add Your topic to point it at your subject. This always makes one slideshow.

From a creator

Choose a creator you track. Each slideshow in the batch builds on a different one of their analysed slideshows, best first. Pick the topic:

  • Same topic as their slideshow — remakes each source's topic in your chosen voice, with fresh wording.
  • I’ll write the brief — your topic, on their structure.
  • Pick it for me from my niche — Slideshow Studio picks a topic from your niche's recent top posts.

Then choose Keep their slide count and structure, or Loose: just their style to set the slide count yourself. If the creator has too few analysed slideshows, open View creator and analyse more of their posts first.

From a script

  • Use a saved script — any carousel script your workspace saved, for example one the script generator wrote.
  • Write a new one → I’ll write the brief — a topic (required), plus optional audience, key points, call to action and notes. Tick Use what’s working in my niche to give the writer a niche's recent top posts as a reference. It uses them as evidence and never copies their words.
  • Write a new one → Pick it for me from my niche — no brief: pick a niche and Slideshow Studio chooses a specific topic for each slideshow from that niche's recent top posts.

When you write a new one, set Slides (3 to 12) and Number of slideshows (1 to 10). More than one makes a batch of drafts.

Daily recipes

A recipe saves a batch's settings so you can make the same kind of batch again. Turn on Make this a daily recipe in the New slideshow sheet, or open the Recipes tab and press New recipe.

  • Every day runs it once a day at the Time of day and Timezone you pick; Only when I run it waits for Run now.
  • Each run makes a fresh batch of drafts. They wait in Drafts, filtered by batch, until you send or download them.
  • Send to my TikTok drafts automatically sends each daily run's slideshows to your own connected TikTok account's drafts. Only your own accounts are listed, and the recipe must make five or fewer at a time. You still post each one from the TikTok app.
  • From the Recipes tab you can run, pause, resume, edit or delete a recipe. Deleting one keeps the drafts it made. A workspace can keep up to five recipes.

What it costs

Each slideshow Slideshow Studio makes counts toward your plan's Slideshow Studio allowance, which resets on your billing day. Starting from a niche slideshow you haven't analyzed yet first runs the slideshow analysis on it, which uses one analyzed video from your plan. Chat edits have their own allowance. See Plans & limits.

Edit it

  • Edit with chat — ask for changes in plain words, such as "make the cover slide stop the scroll", "cut it to the strongest 5 slides" or "swap slide 3's image for something brighter". For image swaps the chat searches your whole Media Library by tags and descriptions. Press Undo to take back the last chat change.
  • By hand — edit any slide's text, press Change image to pick another photo, reorder or delete slides, and write the caption and hashtags.
  • Rewrite — on a slide, gets a new version of just that slide's text.
  • Slide text can be up to 150 characters, in Latin, Greek or Cyrillic letters, with emoji. Other scripts can't be drawn by the slide font yet.

Download or send it to TikTok

Every slide renders at 1080×1920, TikTok's full-screen size. Press Download ZIP for the finished slides as JPEGs, numbered in swipe order, plus the caption and hashtags in a text file.

  1. Press Post to TikTok in the editor and pick your connected TikTok account.
  2. Choose Send to TikTok drafts.
  3. Open the TikTok app, find the slideshow in your drafts, add a sound and set the privacy, then post it yourself.

To send several at once, press Send all to TikTok drafts on a finished batch, or tick drafts under Drafts and choose Send to TikTok drafts. TikTok accepts up to five unposted drafts per account in a day; anything past that is held back so you can retry once you post or delete some in the TikTok app.

Slideshow Studio only works with TikTok accounts you connect yourself in Settings. It can't send to a teammate's account, and it never sends anything you didn't ask it to (a daily recipe with automatic sending counts as asking).

What isn't supported

  • No AI-generated images. Every slide uses a photo you uploaded to your Media Library.
  • TikTok photo slideshows only. It doesn't make Instagram carousels, YouTube posts, videos or video templates.
  • No automatic posting. Daily recipes make drafts and can send them to your TikTok drafts, and you post each one from the TikTok app.
  • Not through the API or MCP. Neither the REST API nor the MCP server makes or sends slideshows; Slideshow Studio works in the dashboard.
