Managing your subscription

Where to change plan, update payment details, or cancel — and what happens to your data afterwards.

Updated Aug 8, 2026·2 min read

Everything billing lives on the Billing page. If you're on a paid plan, Manage subscription opens the secure Stripe portal, which is where changes actually happen.

In the portal

  • Switch plan, or move between monthly and annual billing.
  • Update your card or billing address.
  • Download past invoices and receipts.
  • Cancel.

Changes sync back to fypnow automatically — your new allowances apply as soon as the payment goes through, without you re-entering anything here.

Billing actions need workspace admin rights. If Manage subscription is unavailable, ask whoever owns the workspace.

Upgrading and downgrading

An upgrade raises your caps immediately. A downgrade lowers them at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep what you bought until it runs out.

Downgrading never deletes analyzed videos. If your catalogue is larger than the new plan's cap, everything already there stays readable — you just can't add more until you're back under it. Custom niches behave similarly: the ones outside your new allowance pause rather than disappear (see Create a custom niche).

If you cancel

You keep access until the end of the current billing period. After that, tracked creators stop refreshing and paid surfaces lock, but your workspace and its analyzed videos are still there — resubscribing picks up where you left off rather than starting over.

The free tier stays available either way: browsing the Niches wall, saving to your library, and breakout alerts on any creator you still track are all included at no cost.
