Terms

• Hook score — 0–100 rating of a video's opening.
• Retention curve — % of viewers remaining over time.
• Scene pacing — frequency of shot changes; a retention proxy.
• Velocity — rate of change in a trend's daily uses.
• Window — a trend's stage: Early, Mid or Peaking.
• Trend: several creators in one niche posting about the same specific thing within a few days, detected automatically once a day. Not the same as Hashtag Search, which looks up one hashtag when you ask. See Trends.
• Trend status: where a detected trend is now: new, rising, peaking, fading or ended, worked out daily from when creators last joined it. See Trends.
• Connected account — an owned account that auto-syncs.
• Tracked creator — a public account analyzed on demand.
• Content fingerprint — the format/signal/production tags of a video.
• Niches wall — the rolling library of top TikToks and YouTube Shorts per curated niche, under Viral Trends. See The Niches wall.
• Platform filter — the TikTok / Shorts / Mixed switch on the Niches wall.
• Multiplier — views divided by the creator's followers (TikTok) or subscribers (YouTube). How the wall ranks virality.
• Viral Content Agent — a niche you define with your own 1–3 keywords, refreshed on your chosen cadence beside the curated ones.
• Library — your workspace's saved videos from the Niches wall; unmetered on every plan.
• Catalog cap — the total number of analyzed videos your plan can store. A standing cap, not a monthly meter.
• Breakout — a tracked video that both surged between snapshots and beat its own creator's typical numbers.
• Integration — a Slack channel, Discord channel or webhook that receives your alerts. See Integrations.
• Signing secret — the whsec_ key a webhook uses to prove each alert came from fypnow.
