What fypnow sends you without being asked — breakout alerts and the weekly recap — and how to change it.
Two emails deliver value when you're not logged in. Both are included on every plan, free accounts included.
Breakout alerts
A daily scan of every creator you track, looking for a video that is genuinely taking off rather than merely doing well. If it finds any, you get one email — subject line like "3 videos went viral today" — listing them biggest-surge-first.
A video has to clear two independent bars to count:
- Velocity — it grew sharply between two snapshots, so it's moving right now.
- Peer floor — it's an outlier against that creator's own typical numbers, not against TikTok at large.
Requiring both is what keeps the alert rare enough to be worth opening. A big account's ordinary video won't trigger it, and neither will a slow climb to a decent total.
The same detections appear in-app as the Breaking out feed on your home page and under Viral Trends, so nothing is email-only.
Weekly recap
Once a week, a per-creator scoreboard for the previous 7 days: views gained, engagement gained, new posts, and viral hits for each creator you track, with your top 8 by views gained in the table and the totals in the subject line.
It's deliberately per creator, never per video — individual video callouts are the breakout alert's job. We skip the send entirely in a week where nothing moved, rather than emailing you an empty table.
Changing what you receive
Go to Settings → Notifications. Each email has its own checkbox, grouped by what it's about:
- Activity — Scrape completed, Analysis ready.
- Usage — Approaching usage limit, Usage limit reached.
- Team — Team member joined, Invitation received.
- Digest — Weekly digest. This is the weekly recap, and it's on by default.
There's also an Email frequency setting — Instant, Daily or Weekly — which controls how often activity notifications are batched, rather than which ones you get.
